So, today’s Tip Sheet is all about a section
of your mental (or physical) business plan.
…specifically your exit strategy.
You see, if you plan you exit strategy at the
BEGINNING of your business, you can arrange
your business in that way to support your
particular goal.
Ask yourself these questions:
Why am I in business?
What purpose will my business serve for me
once it’s up and running?
If you get these out of the way early, it can
really have an impact on the way you run your
business.
Are you trying to build it as fast as possible
so you can sell it to a huge company for a giant
paycheck?
Are you creating a growth model that is supposed
to feed you slowly during your retirement years?
Are you creating a huge legacy where you want
to hand the business down to your family
to take over and feed them for generations?
Is this just a little hobby on the side that
will disappear when you no longer need it?
Can you walk away from the business for 3,4,6
or 12 months and find the business running better
then when you left it?
I was just mulling this over yesterday while
I was walking my dog and listening to
podcasts.
So I thought I’d share it with you.
I plan on using my business as a vehicle for
retirement, but I don’t believe information
businesses have ever been sold, so this one
will probably go down with me.
If you have never thought about your exit
strategy, now is the time to do it.
We are not (at least most of us aren’t) in
business just because we like stress and
long hours.
What is the payoff for you?
Speaking of payoffs, what can I do for you?
Is there a product that you have not seen
that you could really use for your business?
The Ultimate Success Formula is days away
from completion.
Soon, you will have the map to getting ANYTHING
you want.
Until Tomorrow,
