but today is all about adding some more
percentage points to the closing rate
on your sales letters and ad campaigns.
Bringing in more revenue!
In the famous 1970′s book “The Lazy Man’s
way to Riches” Joe Karbo tells us about
the 4 R’s of all human motivation to buy
a product.
These can be broken down a little more,
but simplified they give us a great
benchmark for designing our sales letters.
You see, we aren’t all that different no
matter where we live or how much money we
have in the bank.
…and if you want to sell a lot of SOMETHING
to ANYONE you need to appeal to one or more
of these 4 “R” motivations:
1. Reincarnation- The product’s ability to
keep us living longer or getting younger.
2. Recognition- The product will make us
popular, famous, smarter, etc.
3. Romance- The product will make us
sexier, better looking, more appealing,
better in bed, etc.
4. Reward- The product will make you rich
The quicker you can apply one of these
emotions to your product the more dollar
signs you will add to your eternal, popular,
sexy, bank account (sorry tried to get them
all in).
But seriously, for even more punch try to
aim for a couple of them, maybe focus on
a major one but the product will also bring
about a secondary motivation as well.
…such as rich and popular.
