Hey Joshua,

I can’t really says it’s procrasination even though I waste some time. I still have a job that takes almost 60 hours a week away from my family and business. I know what I personally need to do.

My question would be, as an active blogger, how would I submit them as articles?

Do we change the article so it is not an exact copy of the blog?

I ask this because distributing my content through the Internet will most certainly open doors.

This may be what is holding me back, it sounds simple but when you are trying to combine your keyword research, SEO tactics, copywriting, good content and a video summary to go with it. It is more time consuming than one thinks.

Great post Joshua!

Tommy,
Hands-down, the best place to post articles is Ezinearticles.com . They treat their authors like real people, send you gifts in the mail, hold contests, and best of all they have 2 people read each article so spam-happy morons can’t just submit junk.

They want original content so you WILL need to re-tweak your blog posts in order to be able to submit them as articles. They will check for duplicate content. Make sure you change the headline and some of the key points in the body copy but you don’t have to go crazy.

Yes, this is all time-consuming as hell, but the end goal is worth it, right? You just have to work smart.

i have a nevada corporation and am ready to expand to other states. i have the option of registering as a foreign corporation to do business in new york or to form a separate corporate entity in new york. what do you think is the advantage of both options?

Joshua Black

Eric,

You want to make it as easy as possible on yourself with the bookkeeping. I am no accountant here, so don’t take this as professional advice, but you will need to keep separate quaterly reports and file a separate tax return for each business you create. I’m not sure what business you are in to, but you only need to be a corporation in one place, while you can still do business elsewhere.

I have customers from something like 20 different countries and I only have a single corporate entity. I think you need to talk to a corporate lawyer for about an hour. It will be worth the money.

My main problem is that I don’t seem to focus on anyone of my ‘great idea’ areas. Seems like this has been for the last 30 years. Also the needed funds/investors are not/have never been in place.
I believe I’ve got a couple-three billion dollar-potential concepts/ideas.

God Bless All!

Mark,

You need to do 4 things to build your virtual business:
1. Find out of there are people that want what you are going to create. Never make a business and then hope people will come to it. Know it.

2. Develop your voice as a professional. Show the world that you know what you are talking about by developing tons of content.

3. Grab people’s emails as soon as you can and start a list.

4. Keep going on only a single idea until it works or you scrap it. Never pull out a new toy until you put your first toy away.

Joshua Black

Marc,

Everyone on this planet has billion dollar ideas inside of them. The difference between someone who makes it and someone who doesn’t is the person that just goes out there and starts, not giving up.

A million ideas in your head doesn’t mean squat if you don’t get out there and try just one. If you believe in something the solutions will come and the money will come.

Just go out there and get started on one thing!
