Your customers are hungry. They are tired.
They might have two jobs. The are fed up with
being taken advantage of. They have a
burning problem that needs to be addressed.
They won’t part with that hard-earned
cash for philosophy.
That is one of the biggest mistakes that
small business owners make.

…or you are a consultant, life coach, author,
guest speaker, accountant, attorney, or
practically any other profession, if you
sell philosophy, you won’t make any money.
Your customer wants THE ANSWER, that’s it.
People don’t have time any more to sit
at home and ponder about the next great thing.
They want results, almost magical results that
will take them out of their massive problems
and bring them to the place they want to be.
If you sell a product or service that is
slightly philosophical, work on tweaking it
so that you now give the customer the answer.
There is so much personal growth stuff out
there and so many different businesses that
are trying to teach people “how to fish,”
when the customer really just wants to have
their hand held the entire time and to be
given the complete answer.
Think about that when you are trying to boost
your sales.
Focus on the wants of the customer by starting
with the unique selling proposition, or USP.
