Ok, now that I’m done being upset from my car
turning into a salad bowl yesterday, when a
massive tree fell on it… I’m back in action.
Today I want to help you bring out the idea
generator in YOU.
So, strap on your “thinking helmets” kids, and
put on your “creativity pants” because today
you’re gonna lean how to come up with some
crazy solutions for your business that you
never thought of before.
Here are 4 ideas that you can use to solve your
big million dollar problem.
1. Read the chapter in “Think and Grow Rich” about
your invisible counsel. You can find a free copy
of that book in the free stuff section of the
Underdog Millionaire web site.
You invisible counsel is basically a conversation
that you have in your mind, using famous people
to help sort out a tough problem that cannot
otherwise be solved. It involves nothing more than
sitting in a dark room with a piece of paper and
your thoughts.
2. Use a timer when you work. if you use a kitchen
timer, the digital kind, you can set it for 33
minutes.
During those 33 min your can only work on your
project. After the 33 min is over you get a
mandatory 5 min break. Then repeat. This forces
you to keep working to get more stuff done in the
time deadline, which in-turn brings out really
clever ideas in the process.
3. Work on a hobby that is technical but something
where you can let your mind wander while you are
doing it.
Let’s say you like to build ships in a bottle.
If you get stuck on a project, you can stop what
your doing and go to your ship and let your mind
wander while you work on your project. This allows
your subconscious mind some time to “unwind.”
4. Get enough sleep. If you are sleep deprived, as
most of us are, you ability to reason and think
through creative ideas goes WAAAAAAAY down. Your
body is just trying to get through the day without
forgetting how to breathe.
Lack of sleep actually makes you temporarily stupid
and if you try to solve problems in this state, you
could really screw up your business.
