This morning I let my dog outside to do
his thing, as we do every morning, but
today he came back in the house a little
differently than he left.
…he had a sneezing fit.
He must have gotten into something in the
yard that drove him crazy.
I got him some water and his usual cookie
and eventually we got it under control.
…but during that time a light bulb went
off in my head.
You see, my dog is a marketing teacher
extraordinaire; one of the best around.
He had my undivided attention. I was only
focused on one thing for those 20 minutes,
and that was him.
This is how you want your customers to

Each time your customer comes in contact
with your business, they will hear, see,
read your USP.
This is how you get and keep their attention.
This is how you can imprint your business
in their over-cluttered brain, so that the
next time they have a sneezing fit out in
the yard, they will know exactly who they
want to call.
