I was listening to the radio this morning
and occasionally they tell ridiculous
stories that happen to people around the
country.
The other day a man in his twenties got
stuck in a laundry chute because he tried
to slide down it on a dare.
For those of you on the other side of the
world, in many older houses in the US we
have these chutes that you can put laundry
in on the top floor of the house and it
dumps the laundry in the basement so you
don’t have to climb a lot of stairs.
These are very small…
So this idiot got completely stuck in the
chute and had trouble breathing, all because
he took a dare from some little kids.
Gravity only left him with one choice…
DOWN.
Hence the message for today- If you want to
sell the most stuff that you possibly can
in your business, do not give your customers
too many choices.
One choice is the best in most situations.
Make them decide if they want to buy your
product or not.
If you give you customer too many choices,
they could be overwhelmed by the decision
and not be able to decide at all.
This is the reason why catalog sales don’t
work as well as single sales letters.
If you want to learn how to funnel your
customer into making a single choice with
a well-written sales letter (even if you are
pretty lousy at writing) slide on down to:

Josh, if there is a prize for headlines, I hope you get a trophy for this one. That made a good day better. Awesome.
Thanks a lot Josh. I do my best to keep things fun for me too.
LOL, that’s funny! It’s true too. Give people either one option or very limited options (the blue one or the green one) and they’ll er, slide, through the sales funnel more easily.
