Lagniappe Your Way to Keeping Customers Forever

There is an old Cajun French saying that they
use in New Orleans, called “lagniapppe”

pronounced (lanny-yap)

It means a little extra and this is something
that every business owner can do to lock up a
sale, remove buyers remorse, charge higher prices
than the competition, and have your customers
coming back over and over.

It goes like this:

You walk into a bakery and order a dozen donuts.

When you get home, you find out that the baker
threw in a 13th donut and a muffin for free.

I don’t know about you, but this kind of royal
treatment
makes me feel like a king, and your
customer’s will too.

It all goes back to my main point in the e-book
about giving first, then you can get.

People will pay a premium for premium treatment.

People will wait in line to PAY MORE for premium
treatment as long as you are consistent with your
lagniappe and the way you give back to your
customers, why on earth would they go down the
street to a place where the employees don’t smile
and they get only what they pay for.

Mediocre is EASY.

Mediocre is EVERYWHERE.

Let’s work on BETTER, instead. This is the Underdog
Millionaire way.

You can give a little extra in any business, it does
not matter what you do or sell, there is always
something you can put on top that will make the
customer pay a little more to keep coming back.

If you want even more reasons to keep people
coming back, you have to make sure you have a
Unique Selling Proposition that really stands out.
