Yesterday I talked aboout Joe Karbo’s 4 R’s
of Human Motivation.

In case you missed that episode, here’s the

Anyway, this crazy mail-order master was right.

He teaches us that the difference between a
successful business owner and a non-successful
one is just a little bit.

He gives all kinds of examples, but my favorite
is that he says that successful small business
owners worked on the planning of their business
at least 15 hours per week or more during the
development stage, while they had other jobs.

Where the non-successful ones worked on their
businesses about 8 hours a week.

The bottom line- If you work to earn it, you
will earn it. If you half-ass it, you will earn a
half-assed business.

I’ve found this to be true with my own
business. The more time I put it during the
week, the better week I get in return.

Success is there for you but it has a price.

The universe doesn’t reward those that haven’t
put in their time. It’s a strange phenomenon,
but it’s true.

Some say that the reward rule is that you have
to put in 10,000 hours into something before
you become successful.

Looks like it’s time to get started huh?
