There’s so much emphasis on growing the
biggest business these days, I figured I’d
talk a little bit about it.
You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting
a story or business book about ridiculous
levels of growth.
Hell, even the little guys that start in
their dorm rooms are building billion dollar
companies in a few days.
How come I can’t get some of that? You say.
Well, most people have it all wrong in the
growth department.
They just think bigger is better, so there
should be growth no matter what.
Well, scale and size of your business don’t
really matter at all.
It’s the IMPACT that you’re making that counts.
The impact on society, your community, your
industry, your customers, even your family
and your bank account.
It’s all about the impact.
You can be the smallest operation on the
planet, but if you have Goliath-sized impact
then you have it made.
So how do you increase your impact?
One way is by giving before you get, which
is why I wrote that little book that you get
for free each time you subscribe to the Tip
Sheet.
One of the best ways to do this efficiently
is to create a network of like-minded people
in different industries.
When you network you will get the opportunity
to help all kinds of people with your expertise.
Occasionally, they will help you in return.
That is why I am in the process of creating a
