How to Pull Customers Out of Nowhere

by Joshua Black

Remember the classic magic trick, where the
magician pulls a rabbit out of his hat?

Well, today I’m going to show you how to do
the same thing, except your are going to
pull customers out of your nowhere.

…and you are going to do it for free.

How in the heck am I supposed to do that,
you ask…

Well, it might make you fingers a little
sore, and it will take some time for sure,
but it won’t cost you a dime.

It can be used for any business with a
website, whether you are virtual or not.

It doesn’t matter what you sell.

It’s called article marketing.

Many of you ended up on this Tip Sheet
because of article marketing. I use it
my self.

The theory behind it is really simple. You
write an article of approximately 350 words,
post it to an article database and the whole
world gets access to publish your article
within a few days.

How do I promote my business using articles?

Well, you will write a VERY specific article
about a topic that relates to your business.

The article has to give the customer worthwhile
information and must stand alone, telling them
how to solve a particular problem.

You are not allowed to sell or pitch your
website in the article at all.

At the bottom of the article, you are allowed
to have an author’s information box, where all
of your contact information is displayed,
including a relevant website where people can
get more information related to the article.

This is where you get your traffic.

…and don’t think that you have to have an
online business to use this.  You can use article
marketing
to spread the word about ANY business.

The title of your article is CRIT-TI-CAL!

You  can’t just say “how to feed your cat”

…there are probably 10,000 articles out there
that say the same thing.

You need to grab them and excite them with every
article, so you might say “Cats-how to keep you
favorite furry family member from starving to
death,” or something like that.

Remember to put your keywords within the first
3-4 words of the title, so that they are search
engine friendly.

As far as clickthrough rates go, I am getting
higher than I ever did with Google Adwords.

With articles you are getting pre-qualified
traffic, because your customers like what you
have to say, so they are going to you for more.

Article writing is a long process, but if you
keep up with it, you can really generate some
good leads to your business, especially if
there are not a lot of articles in your category.

I use Ezine Articles, but you can also use
Go Articles or Article City to submit all of your
work.

NEVER submit the same article to multiple sites,
because Google will note this as duplicate content,
and it won’t put up links to your articles.

Happy typing,
