talk to you about an epidemic that lives
in the pockets of almost every single
business owner on the plant.
It’s an epidemic that could cost you a
pile of business and can no longer be ignored.
I’m talking about the backside of your
business card.
For many business owners out there (not
you. I’m sure) this is just a terrible
empty white space that people tend to
use for scratch paper.
In addition, most of the time these cards
are tossed in the trash or end up in a
drawer, where they are instantly forgotten.
Well I say down with blank backsides!
Take a stand and make your business card
worth something… as currency.
You see, the back of your business card
should act like a tiny billboard, where
you are causing the reader to take action.
Sure, you can have the boring contact
information on the front that you need to
have, but the backside is like GOLD!
*Use the back of your card as a coupon
that the reader must hand in to get a free
something or other.
*Use the back as a list of valuable tips
or web sites that add value.
*Use the back to do ANYTHING that will keep
the customer from throwing it away.
*Heck, you could even have a series of jokes
on the back that people will want to collect
to see them all…maybe even good quotes, but
jokes will be more viral.
Protect that little piece of paper in your
pocket from the trash can.
You will get a whole lot of new customers in
the process and all of those little cards will
be spared.
