Well, today is the FIRSTofficial birthday of the Underdog Millionaire Blog. We’re celebrating all week and I thank everyone for all of the pre-birthday wishes yesterday.
It has been quite a year over here at the Underdog Millionaire. I’ve made a ton of new friends, created some great new products to help you grow your business and sold a ton of those products as well.
In case you weren’t around yesterday, this is day two of birthday week and as a thank you to all of you loyal Underdog Millionaire fans, I am giving away a free report that contains 10 different ways that you can get FREE customer traffic.
This report comes from ideas taken straight out of my new book, Underdog Marketing 101, which contains 101 different FREE ideas for generating traffic to any business. I don’t pay for traffic and neither should you.
To get your sweaty, little paws on a copy of this bad-boy, all you have to do is make a comment on the blog during birthday week and either sign up, or already have signed up for the Underdog Millionaire Tip Sheet (upper left hand corner of your screen). There’s even MORE FREE STUFF available when you subscribe.
Well it’s a big day over here, so let’s get on with the blog. I though that I would dust off the old archives and grab a handful of my favorite (and hopefully yours too) posts over the past year.
As this little guy has learned to walk, feed himself, and most importantly, operate a blog with tons of raving fans, there have been a few key posts that I would like to share. So let’s hop a ride in the Way Back Machine and get moving…
There are 10 posts here altogether, so bookmark this puppy because you might want to come back to it.
1. I really like to beat up on my ex-dentist, so start here with this Marketing for Dentistry post and how NOT to do it.
2. Now we move on to another follow-up post about my new dentist and his money-losing marketing mistake that you can benefit from.
3. This next post is a little motivational tip from Dwight Schrute, my favorite character on the TV show, The Office.
4. Now we move on to a great sales lesson from Dwight Schrute.
5. This was also the past year that we lost a music icon, so I couldn’t leave out a pricing strategy lesson from the King of Pop.
6. From here we learned how to shoot your customers with a Taser and how many small business owners are doing it without even knowing.
7. Here I share with your the single most important technique that I use to help build my business and stay on top of everything that is going on in marketing. I build my empire by enrolling in Automobile University.
8. Now, a re-cap of this past year would not be complete without a few posts about my dog, who as you know, is a total marketing genius.
9. Here are some insane customer magnets that my dog wouldn’t even touch.
10. Last, but not least. I thought I would share with you my personal favorite post headline of the past year.
So there we are. It’s been a fantastic year and I thank you all for stopping by. Don’t forget to tweet about this birthday extravaganza and I would love to hear about some of your favorite posts as well.
Until tomorrow (for even more birthday fun),
Joshua Black
P.S. don’t forget to leave a comment in order to get your FREE customer generation report, straight out of the yet-to-be-released Underdog Millionaire 101. I will send the reports out at the end of the week.

Hey Joshua,
I would like to say Congrats! One year anniversary is huge. I still haven’t reach my one year yet looking forward to it. But you just proved that you can keep producing great contents and products. You do some awesome work!
Chat with you later…
Josh
Thanks Josh. It’s all down hill from here. Most of the big hitting blogs out there have been in business for at least 2-3 years, so the more birthdays we can add to our success, the closer we can get to really capturing a huge crowd.

Happy “Birthday” again Josh,
I want to thank you and curse you for being a time sink. Many of your “recap” posts I HAVE not read but the titles seem so intriguing and fun that I now must go and read them.
Thank you and curse you!
Steve
I think that’s the first time I’ve been thanked and cursed in the same sentence. Glad you have been intrigued.

Congratulations of one year of service to your customers through this mode of communication. I appreciate your information because it is practical and down to earth as opposed to all technical and theory. I hope you see much success in the coming years and I hope to hear lots more valuable info coming my way.
Thanks,
Don
Don,
Thanks for the great compliment. Stay tuned, because I hope to keep bringing you all kinds of practical advice in the future. I try to stay away from theory as much as possible. I like to get down to work.

Hi Josh, Happy Birthday from Tasmania, Australia. Thanks for your great blog and business tips. I am currently in the planning phase of a web-based business and your knowledge and expertise are of obvious value. Thanks again and all the best.
Linda,
Welcome from Tasmania! It’s great to have such a wide variety of fellow Underdog Millionaires from all over the world. Good luck with your future web business. Make sure that you do something proactive towards it every day, and don’t worry about getting your product in front of customers too early.

Hi Josh – I just read the consultation you did for Grant/Garage Door business. Great job – again! I wanted to send you another resource for signs: http://www.signs365.com. They have great pricing (I compared them to Bandit signs and they were less expensive – I am always looking for a good vendor) and service – they will print your order and ship it within 24 hours. We use them in oiur business for all of our signs and banners. We have no affiliation with them other than I just wanted to let you and your readers know so they can save money.
Thanks for the link Suzanne. I will add that site to my Rolodex of businesses. That is very helpful.
