Today’s Underdog Millionaire Tip Sheet might
be a little unorthodox, but it’s very effective
anyway.
If you are in the process of selling anything
in your business and especially if you deal
with a prospect where you need them to call
you, this tip is for you.
…it’s a short one, but valuable.
Many times sales people have to deal with a
prospect that just won’t call them back.
You might know for sure that you can close the
prospect, or you just need one more piece of
information from the person, but no matter
what you do, you just can’t get them to call
you back.
You might even have a relative of family member
that will never return your calls.
Well, here is another tool you can use to help
you get that phone call returned:
The next time you leave a message for that person
make sure you give your name and contact info up
front, then tell them you have important
information for them, and just as you reveal the
information, you hang up the phone.
Here’s and example:
“Hello Josh, this is Joshua Black from ACME
Enterprises at 555-5555. I have some important
information for you that could potentially save
your business from the hidden dangers of…CLICK!”
The person will think that their answering machine
or voicemail cut off the message and will call
you back in many cases.
Now, you have to use this as a tool that you only
pull out on rare occasions.
If you do this every time you call a prospect, they
will see right through it and think you’re an idiot.
This is only for the really difficult cases.
I would suggest that you keep a call log so that you
never do this to the same person twice, or at least
only once a year or so.
