Hey Joshua,

I’ve ran my traditional small business wearing every single hat and I just didn’t get the full productivity that the business was able to truly handle. Having someone professional handle the aspect of generating business will change things almost overnight. That is one less hat the owner has to worry about learning and never mastering.

Having someone generate business for you is almost an instant stress reliever. If a business owner gets more time to focus on building the business instead of worrying about where their next customer will come from, then they can really take things to the next level. If you just worry about getting customers, then many other critical aspects of your business can fall by the wayside.

What a truly superb post. You really made me stop and think about what opportunities there are right under my nose…and because of your post for the very first time I recognized some great opportunities.

You are absolutely correct when you talk about trying to do everything yourself – we all get tunnel vision at some time and it requires a consultant approach to make one aware of the need for example, to outsource many tasks that we may do every day that are totally unproductive

Hi Joshua,

Well I learned the hard way that trying to do it all yourself just plain does not work in business.

I have skills where I am good at and definitely others areas where I need someone else to assist. For instance copy writing is not my traits and getting someone else to do this benefits me a lot.

This just shows the importance of outsourcing to be able to run a successful business, whether it be a small or large one.

Louis, you are absolutely right. There is no such thing as a business owner that is an expert at everything. Sometimes you just have to know when you need the expertise of an outside consultant that can really find all of that extra money hidden in the couch cushions, or any other service where someone can do it better than you can.
