I just saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie a few
days ago and it revealed an excellent business
lesson that I plan to reveal to you here.
First, Holmes actually never says the quote
that became so common in pop culture, but
more important, he was able to discover the
man behind the curtain.
Holmes had the uncanny knack for discovering
the truth behind the smoke screen that the
bad guys were trying to make the public believe.
He was able to uncover some of the craziest
clues that the average bear would never notice.
Well, you need to try and be more like Holmes
with your next business idea or income stream.
…even with your current business.
Try to find the formula- What can you do to
create a formula for success doing what you do?
Author Robin Cooke was able to find a successful
book formula by emulating that top 100 best
sellers.
He decoded what people liked and made a formula
that he could use over and over.
Ray Crock did it with McDonald’s.
The first convenience store creator interviewed
thousands of people coming out of supermarkets,
found out the top 300-700 items that 90% of
the people bought and just sold those items.
