Today’s Tip Sheet is All About Timing.
You may think that right now is the worst
time on earth to start a business.
For many reasons it is the most challenging,
but I am going to show you why it’s actually
the best time.
For starters, if you can build a business and
get new customers in the worst economy that
has hit the WORLD since the great depression
then you can do ANYTHING.
The only place you have to go is up.
Once things start to pick up, your small
trickle of customers will turn into a geyser.
If you have found a method that brings in
customers for YOU (every business is different),
KEEP IT UP!
Just because it’s giving you discouraging
results, does not mean that it won’t work.
As long as your efforts are producing at least
a small, positive result, WHEN (not if) the
economy comes back like a champ, you will
be pleasantly surprised.
At least in the U.S. we are absolutely
terrible at learning from past mistakes, so
as soon as your customers get a little more
cash they will be back to spending more than
they earn.
If you are from another country, it may
take longer because people are smarter about
their spending, but human nature is human
nature and as soon as people start to get
fistfuls of cash they will get rid of it.
…and you will be in a PRIME spot to
grab it.
Just think of how valuable the lessons of
this economy are.
In this economy you have to make VERY
smart decisions in order to get customers
to buy.
You have to treat each customer like gold.
Gone are the days of creating a store,
opening the doors and all of a sudden having
a bunch of customers.
…so my point is the this is a GREAT time
to start a business, or keep a business
going (if you can).
Capitalism creates a situation of survival
of the fittest.
Customers deserve only the best and if you
are running a sub-par shop then you’re
out with the bathwater.
That’s all there is to it.
There is not a lot of room for mistakes in
this economy, I will grant you that, but
if you can get through it, you will be
well rewarded on the other side.
I guarantee it.
