Then it comes down to values. What is more important to you: fame, money, relationships, or maybe your own sense of self-worth and achievement? Just food for thought...I generally agree with what you say, but I like to play devil's advocate sometimes. Yet, at the same time J.D. Salinger will be talked about long after his death – something that won’t happen to many of us. Perhaps his life of seclusion is what allowed him to be such a great writer?
