A Pricing Test For My Customers

On Friday I posted a huge sale for a very
short period of time. Although that sale
was quite REAL, it was completely an
experiment that I was doing.

You see, I had a bet with a friend of mine
that my customers were more savvy than the
average bear.

I was trying to tell him that my customers
actually listen to the advice that I give
and would never buy anything from a sale
like that after I have been teaching people
that the sale is a business killer.

…well, I won the bet.

Even though I would have lost a TON of
money on the deal, NOT A SINGLE PERSON
took me up on the offer.

In fact, a lot of you were downright
confused and insulted by it.

I got emails that said things like:

“Sale? What are you thinking?”

“What is your philosophy behind this
marketing strategy, when you were just
saying the other day how you should not
have sales like this because it trains
people to buy from you only when taking
advantage of a sale and you…”

“Traitor! A sale? Really?”

Well, I thank you for not taking advantage
of my offer and I thank you for helping
me win the bet, showing that the Underdog
Millionaires are by far, the savviest of
customers on earth.

…some businesses are not as lucky as I
am, to have such a good crop of customers.

Some business rely on creating a commodity
out of their product, service, or business,
because they feel as if they have nowhere to
turn.
